THE CHAMELEONS
Technical Requirements
Tech Personnel
- a. 1 lighting operator
- b. 1 sound operator
- c. 2 stage hands wearing black backstage for set-ups and strikes
- d. 5 headsets (1 for stage manager, 1 for light operator, 1 for sound
operation, 1 offstage left and 1 offstage right for running crew)
Stage
- 1. A suitable theatre, hall or auditorium with a clean non-carpeted
stage at least 20' X 20". Please use the fullest stage size possible
and prepare to light entire stage. Nailheads and tacks must be countersunk
or removed from the stage. Stage must be swept and mopped prior to the
rehearsal and performance.
- 2. Wings must be clean and free of obstacles.
- 3. 2 prop tables (1 off stage right and 1 off stage left) and four
black chairs.
- 4. Blue running lights for prop tables.
- 5. 2 small tables or black boxes approximately 3' H x 1-1/2' W x 1-1/2

- 6. If stage is not accessible from audience, we need a stair unit.
Drapery and Masking
- 1. Black or dark blue legs arranged so that backstage is fully masked.
- 2. Upstage black or dark blue curtain.
Lights
- 1. Lights must be set up before The Chameleons' arrival at theatre.
Load in and light cues will commence at least 4 hours prior to performance
time.
- 2. Lighting requirements:
a. General front lighting (full stage wash) with Rosco #33
b. Cool front wash Rosco #60
c. 2 color backlight Rosco #68 & #27
d. Sidelighting (if available) Rosco #57 & #60
e. Center stage special Rosco # 33 with backlight Rosco #52
f. Various specials for gobos (depending upon program)
Note: If colors above are not available, please advise stage manager.
- 3. Lighting plot scheduled for this performance will be sent to sponsor
45 days prior to performance.
Sound
- 1. Double cassette tape player or two cassette tape players to be run
through house speakers or PA system ready for use with light cue run through.
- 2. One standing voice microphone with on/off switch placed off stage
right.
- 3. 2 microphone stands (without mics.).
Dressing Room
- 1. One private dressing room provided with water and mirror, available
4 hours prior to performance time. Berger & Diskin require that no
one be allowed to disturb them before the show in the dressing room or
at intermission.
