- Trent
Arterberry - Mime Extraordinaire - Voted "Campus Performing Artist
of the Year," Trent Arterberry's engaging presence, athletic grace and marvelously
precise movements command rapt attention. He has joined forces with Big Apple
Circus clown, Dr. Fish in developing two highly unique and entertaining shows.
- Avner The Eccentric
- Avner The Eccentric, a one man mime show, is brilliant comedy. I laughed for
2 solid hours. The show only lasted an hour and a half. He is funny.
- Imago
Theatre Mask Ensemble - "If there is something that can
be done with a mask that these performers fail to do, it's hardly worth considering...entrancing
and clever." (Webmaster's Note: I presented
this group several years ago and they remain a highlight of my career. 10 shows
for children and one public performance...from the first 60 seconds to final standing
ovations, the audiences, both young and old, were mesmerized.)
- Theatre
Fantastique - Cybersuite - From France comes Theatre Fantastique
in their new production "Cybersuite" a magical comical voyage into a
virtual reality. Sophisticated computer graphic techniques and the manipulation
of video images create a new universe.
- The
Chameleons - Through a deft assemblage of movement theatre,
physical comedy, mimetic illusion, intelligence and romance, "The Chameleons"
emerge as a highly unique and exciting performance pair. Transcending all
language barriers, audiences both young and old have been transported into the
wonderful world of "The Chameleons" where literally anything can happen...and
often does. Their's is a world where normality and sublime madness collide. (Webmasters
Note: The Chamelons were part of my last season and my Youth Programs series.
They are delightful to work with and wonderful artists. I recommend them highly.)
- Umo Ensemble
- We are a theater of connection -- to our audience, to our bodies, to
the imagination. Our work is physical and image rich, exploring timeless themes
that stir the human spirit. We work with a broad palette, combining character,
movement, music, sculpture and story.
